Young woman crushed under train in Mymensingh

An unidentified young woman, aged about 35, crushed to death under the wheels of train at Pagla area of Gafargaon upazila in Mymensingh on Wednesday morning. The identity of the deceased could not be known yet.
According to local sources, a Dhaka-bound intercity train ‘Jamuna Express’ hit her when it was passing the Kawraid-Gashpur rail bridge at 6:00 am, leaving her dead on the spot. Shahidullah, in-charge of Gafargaon GRP Police Outpost, said that body will be sent to Mymensingh Medical College and Hospital (MMCH) morgue for an autopsy.
Fayezur Rahman, sub-inspector (investigation) of Pagla Police Staion confirmed the matter.
