Woman held with 1.5 lakh Yaba pills in Cox’s Bazar

Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested a woman along with 1,50,000 pieces of Yaba in a raid at Hilar Reda Purbapara area of Teknaf Upazila in Cox’s Bazar on Sunday morning. The arrestee is identified as Julekha Begum, 20, wife of Abul Kashem, of the area.
Lt Mirza Shahed Mahtab, camp commander of Rab-15 in Teknaf, said acting on a tip-off a team of elite force conducted the drive at Julekha’s house and arrested her along with 1,50,000 pieces of Yaba at the area this morning. He added that the woman has been sent to Teknaf Police Station for legal action.
