Govt to reopen educational institutions soon: Minister

 

Education Minister Dr Dipu Moni said that all educational institutions in the country will be reopened soon as the coronavirus situation is improving day by day.

She made the remarks while addressing an exchange meeting with district and metropolitan Awami League leaders at the Sylhet Circuit House auditorium.

While talking about the crisis in Shahjalal University of Science and Technology (SUST), the minister said they are making every effort to solve the problems.

“The problems which created the crisis in SUST are also prevailing in almost all public universities. We are trying to solve the problems of all public universities through national initiative,” she said.

Dipu Moni will hold a meeting with teachers, students and representatives of various organizations at the SUST at 3:00pm.

Earlier, the minister arrived at Osmani International Airport by air at 8.50 am on Friday to resolve the ongoing crisis at SUST.
